“Hi, I’m Seth and I’m the creator of this project. I’m a student and content creator who has fun ideas and isn’t afraid to throw myself at them. While I absolutely am not a professional developer and shouldn’t be confused for one, I do hope to one day become one. I absolutely despised programming for a long time, and even today I don’t do much of it myself, but I definitely enjoy it much more when it has a purpose. I hope you enjoy using my software, and that one day it will be in the hands of many.”

Alleged head of hardware testing

“I've been testing Linux distros on strange hardware since 2010 when I tried to install Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" onto my family's old Celeron 633 system to see if Linux really could "bring it back to life". The short answer was no: software couldn't fix a dead hard drive, nor could it increase the 256 MB of RAM that system had.

I continued putting Linux on outdated computers through high school and college. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, I joined a volunteer program to refurbish computers for households in need. Since 2020, I have installed Linux on all sorts of wild and whacky computer hardware.

Recently, I've taken to installing Starch Linux onto the strangest things the team can think of, searching for edge cases to fix.”
