# Starch Linux name policy

The software licenses in this repository do not grant permission to use the
Starch Linux name, logos, or other project branding to identify a modified
distribution.

You may copy, modify, and redistribute the software and artwork under their
respective licenses. If you distribute a modified version or a fork, you must
remove the Starch Linux name and branding and use a different name that does
not suggest that the project produced, sponsors, or endorses your version.

You may use the Starch Linux name when truthfully describing compatibility,
origin, or the changes made to this project, as long as you do not imply
endorsement. Unmodified copies may retain their existing identification.
